Simple Pleasures

Simple Pleasures

Happy Fourth of July Week!

Our practice for this week is to pause to consider life's simple summer pleasures:

Slices of watermelon
Ice cream cones
Dinners outside
Baseball games
Running through sprinklers
Long days
A good book on the porch
Sunsets
Outdoor concerts
Peaches
Hammocks
Lemonade
Vibrant flowers
Roadtrips
Pool days
S'mores
Fireflies
Starry nights

Let's celebrate all of that!

Here is a beautiful story of a little girl named Ruby who grants wishes to people in a nursing home....you will see that simple pleasures are what we all long for the most.

So have that ice cream cone, listen to the stories at family gatherings, soak up the sun, and find pleasure in slowing down enough to enjoy the simple things this summer.

With love,
Ginger
