Kim Brown, LSCSW, Teen & Parent Therapist

“I help teens, as well as parents through life’s challenges by creating a safe, non-judgmental space
where they can feel heard, understood, and supported. I focus on building resilience, developing a
strong sense of self and feeling empowered to create a hopeful path forward.”

Kim joins the Compassion Fix team as a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW), bringing her expertise in working with teens and supporting parents. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. With over 20 years experience in school settings with children and adolescents, Kim brings a deep understanding of the challenges young people face today. She is passionate about helping teens and their families navigate the often complex journey of adolescence.

Kim is passionate about helping teens navigate the challenges of adolescence while building confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of self. She creates a safe space where they feel seen, heard, and supported. She understands the unique challenges adolescents face—whether it’s anxiety, depression, academic stress, identity exploration, self-confidence, peer relationships, or family dynamics—and meets each teen where they are with empathy and respect.

In her free time, Kim enjoys reading, walking her dogs, playing pickleball, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their two college-aged sons.

Whether a teen is feeling emotionally overwhelmed, navigating a difficult transition, or facing everyday challenges, Kim is committed to being a steady, supportive presence as they build confidence and emotional well-being.
