Kim Brown, LSCSW, Therapist
Kim joins the Compassion Fix team as a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW), bringing her expertise in working with teens and supporting parents. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. With many years of experience in school settings with children and adolescents, Kim brings a deep understanding of the challenges young people face today. Currently serving as a school counselor at a local private high school, she is passionate about helping teens and their families navigate the often complex journey of adolescence.
Kim is dedicated to helping teens navigate the ups and downs of the teen years. She creates a safe space where teens feel seen, heard, and supported. She understands the unique challenges adolescents face—whether it’s anxiety, depression, academic stress, identity exploration, peer relationships, or family dynamics—and meets each teen where they are with empathy and respect.
In her free time, Kim enjoys reading, walking her dogs, playing pickleball, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their two college-aged sons.
Whether a teen is struggling with being emotionally overwhelmed or simply needs someone to talk to, Kim is passionate about being a steady, supportive presence on their journey toward greater confidence and well-being.
