Join Dr. Lyndi Hinkle, occupational therapist and founder of qualOT, as part of our “Aging with Intention Series.” This hands-on workshop starts with the File of Life, a simple emergency tool that puts a person's medical information directly into the hands of first responders in an emergency. From there, we move into Caring Conversations, a guided process for reflecting on your own healthcare values, talking with loved ones about your wishes, and appointing a trusted healthcare agent. Attendees leave with both a completed File of Life and a clear next step toward getting their own advance directive documents in place.
Adult children and their loved ones are encouraged to attend together. Sharing this information as a family can help everyone feel more prepared, informed, and confident when navigating healthcare decisions together.
